To assemble the Shark S5002Q Mop, attach the handle to the main body by aligning the connectors and pushing them together until they click. Then, attach the cleaning pad to the mop head by aligning it with the Velcro strips.
The mop pads can be cleaned by machine washing them in warm water with a mild detergent. Avoid using bleach or fabric softeners. Air dry the pads for best results.
Ensure the mop is plugged in and the water tank is filled. Check the steam setting and wait a few minutes for the mop to heat up. If it still doesn't produce steam, try cleaning the nozzle with a descaling solution.
It is recommended to use only water in the Shark S5002Q Mop. Using cleaning solutions may damage the unit or leave residue on floors.
Replace the mop pads when they become worn out or if they do not clean effectively, typically after 20-25 washes.
Use distilled or demineralized water in the Shark S5002Q Mop to prevent mineral buildup and ensure optimal performance.
Empty the water tank and remove the cleaning pad before storing. Store the mop upright in a cool, dry place to prevent damage.
Ensure the cleaning pad is clean and the water tank is filled with clean water. Move the mop slowly and evenly across the floor to avoid streaks.
Regularly clean the mop pads, descale the steam nozzle if necessary, and store the mop properly. Avoid using harsh chemicals in the water tank.
The Shark S5002Q is suitable for sealed hard floors such as tile, hardwood, and laminate. Avoid using it on unsealed or waxed floors to prevent damage.
