To assemble the Vax S2S Series steam cleaner, attach the handle to the main body, ensuring it clicks into place securely. Then, connect the cleaning pads to the base plate. Refer to the user manual for detailed diagrams and instructions.
Ensure that the water tank is filled and properly seated. Check that the steam control dial is set to the desired level. If the issue persists, inspect the nozzle for blockages and clean it according to the manual's instructions.
To descale the steam cleaner, mix a solution of descaling agent and water as per the instructions on the descaler. Pour the solution into the water tank and let it sit for the recommended time. Then, rinse thoroughly with clean water.
The Vax S2S Series is suitable for sealed hard floors such as tiles, vinyl, and laminate. Avoid using on unsealed or waxed floors, as the steam may cause damage.
After use, unplug the steam cleaner and allow it to cool. Empty any remaining water from the tank. Store the unit in a dry, cool place, and keep the power cord neatly wrapped. Avoid direct sunlight or damp environments.
The Vax S2S Series is designed to use only water for steam cleaning. Adding detergents can damage the unit and void the warranty. Consider using Vax-approved cleaning solutions if necessary.
To replace the cleaning pads, turn off the steam cleaner and let it cool. Remove the existing pads by pulling them off the base plate. Attach new pads by aligning them with the base and pressing firmly until secure.
Check that the power cord is securely plugged into an operational outlet. Examine the cord for any visible damage. If the light still does not turn on, consult a Vax service center for further assistance.
It is recommended to clean the water tank after every few uses or if you notice any build-up. Use a mild detergent and water, then rinse thoroughly to ensure no residue remains.
Regularly inspect the steam cleaner for any blockages or wear. Clean the water tank and nozzle monthly. Replace cleaning pads as necessary. Perform descaling every 3-6 months, depending on usage frequency and water hardness.
