To pair the Salus ST620RF thermostat with the receiver, press and hold the pairing button on the receiver until the LED flashes. Then, on the thermostat, navigate to the pairing menu and select the pair option. The LED on the receiver will turn solid to indicate successful pairing.
First, ensure that the thermostat is within range of the receiver and the batteries are not depleted. Check the connection between the thermostat and the receiver, and re-pair if necessary. Also, verify that the thermostat is set to a temperature higher than the current room temperature.
To reset the Salus ST620RF to factory settings, press and hold the reset button located behind the battery cover for about 10 seconds until the display resets. This will erase all programmed settings.
To change the batteries, slide the thermostat off the wall mount, open the battery compartment on the back, and replace the old batteries with new AA alkaline batteries. Ensure the correct polarity before closing the compartment.
If the display is blank, check if the batteries need replacing. If new batteries do not resolve the issue, inspect for any visible damage or loose connections within the thermostat.
To program schedules, press the 'program' button on the thermostat. You can set up to six periods for weekdays and weekends. Adjust the time and temperature for each period as desired and save the settings.
Yes, the Salus ST620RF can be used with underfloor heating systems, as long as the system is compatible with a volt-free contact. Check the system specifications to ensure compatibility.
A flashing antenna symbol indicates that the thermostat is not communicating with the receiver. Try re-pairing the devices and ensure they are within the recommended range of each other.
To lock the keypad, press and hold the 'lock' button until a padlock symbol appears on the display. This will prevent changes to the settings until the keypad is unlocked.
Regular maintenance for the Salus ST620RF includes checking and replacing batteries as needed, ensuring the device is dust-free, and checking the connection and communication with the receiver periodically.
