To pair the Salus RT501RF TX with the receiver, press the pairing button on the receiver until the LED starts blinking. Then, press the pairing button on the thermostat. The LED on the receiver will become solid to confirm successful pairing.
If the thermostat is not responding, check the batteries and replace them if necessary. Ensure that the thermostat is within range of the receiver and that there are no obstructions causing interference.
To reset the thermostat to factory settings, remove the batteries, press and hold the reset button while reinserting the batteries, and continue holding the button for 5 seconds.
To change the temperature setpoint, use the up and down arrow buttons on the thermostat. The display will show the new setpoint temperature.
It is recommended to replace the batteries in the Salus RT501RF TX every 12 months to ensure optimal performance.
The Salus RT501RF TX requires two AA alkaline batteries. Do not use rechargeable batteries as they may not provide sufficient power.
To lock the keypad, press and hold the lock button on the thermostat for 5 seconds. The lock icon will appear on the display to indicate that the keypad is locked.
A blank display may indicate that the batteries are depleted. Replace the batteries and ensure they are inserted correctly. If the problem persists, check for possible faults in the thermostat.
The Salus RT501RF TX does not require setting the time and date as it functions solely based on temperature setpoints.
Ensure the thermostat is paired with the receiver and that both devices are powered on. Check the receiver for any fault indicators and consult the user manual for troubleshooting tips specific to your heating system.
