To pair the Salus RT500RF thermostat with the receiver, start by pressing the 'Learn' button on the receiver until the LED flashes. Then, on the thermostat, navigate to the pairing mode in the settings menu. The devices will connect automatically.
If the display is blank, check if the batteries are installed correctly and have sufficient charge. Replace the batteries if necessary and ensure that the battery compartment is clean.
To reset the Salus RT500RF to factory settings, remove the batteries, press and hold the reset button inside the battery compartment for 3 seconds, then reinsert the batteries.
Ensure that the thermostat is set to 'Auto' mode and that the programmed schedule is correct. Check if the receiver is connected and responding to the thermostat by observing the LED indicators.
To change the temperature setpoint, press the 'Up' or 'Down' arrow buttons on the thermostat until the desired temperature is displayed. The thermostat will automatically adjust to the new setpoint.
Regularly check and replace the batteries to ensure optimal performance. Clean the thermostat gently with a dry cloth to remove dust and debris, avoiding any liquid cleaners.
The Salus RT500RF can be used with most boilers that have a compatible receiver. Ensure that the voltage and wiring are compatible before attempting to connect the thermostat to a new boiler.
To lock the keypad, press and hold the 'Up' and 'Down' arrow buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds. This will prevent accidental changes to the settings.
If the signal is lost, try moving the thermostat closer to the receiver and ensure there are no obstructions or interference. Re-pair the devices if necessary by following the pairing instructions.
To adjust the time, press the 'Menu' button and navigate to the time settings. Use the arrow buttons to set the correct time, then press 'OK' to confirm.
