To reset the Salus RT500 to factory settings, press and hold the reset button located on the back of the thermostat for 10 seconds until the display resets.
Check if the thermostat is properly connected to the power supply and the heating system. Ensure that the thermostat settings are correctly configured and that the desired temperature is higher than the current room temperature.
Press the up or down arrow buttons on the thermostat to adjust the temperature setpoint to your desired level.
Ensure that the batteries are installed correctly and are not depleted. Replace the batteries if necessary. If the issue persists, check the power supply and connections.
Press the program button to enter scheduling mode. Use the arrow buttons to set the time and temperature for each period. Confirm each setting by pressing the program button again.
The Salus RT500 requires two AA alkaline batteries for operation.
To lock the keypad, press and hold the lock button until the lock icon appears on the display. To unlock, repeat the process until the lock icon disappears.
The anti-freeze setting prevents the temperature from dropping below a certain level to protect pipes from freezing. It automatically activates the heating when the temperature falls below 5°C (41°F).
Press the mode button to toggle between manual and automatic mode. Manual mode allows you to set a constant temperature, while automatic mode follows the programmed schedule.
Refer to the user manual for the specific error code to diagnose the issue. Common solutions include checking connections, resetting the device, or contacting customer support for further assistance.
