To set the temperature, press the 'Up' or 'Down' buttons on the thermostat to adjust to your desired temperature. The display will show the set temperature.
Ensure that the thermostat is in 'Heating' mode. Check the settings and verify that the current room temperature is below the set temperature. Also, make sure that the boiler is powered and operational.
To reset the Salus RT300, press and hold the 'Reset' button located at the back of the device for about 5 seconds. This will restore the factory default settings.
Check the batteries and replace them if necessary. Ensure that the connections are secure and that there are no power interruptions to the unit.
To change the batteries, remove the thermostat from its wall plate, access the battery compartment on the back, and replace the old batteries with two new AA batteries.
Install the Salus RT300 on an interior wall away from direct sunlight, drafts, and heat sources for accurate temperature measurement.
Ensure that the thermostat is within range of the receiver and that there are no obstructions. Verify that both the thermostat and receiver are powered and functioning correctly.
This issue may occur due to dead batteries. Make sure to replace the batteries and reprogram the schedule, ensuring that you save each setting correctly.
To lock the thermostat, access the menu settings and select the lock option. Follow the on-screen instructions to set a lock code.
Regularly check the batteries and replace them as needed. Clean the thermostat with a soft, dry cloth to prevent dust buildup and ensure accurate temperature readings.
