To pair the Salus ERT20TX with the receiver, first ensure both devices are powered. Press the pairing button on the receiver until the LED starts blinking. Then, press and hold the pairing button on the thermostat until you see a confirmation signal. The LED on the receiver should stop blinking, indicating successful pairing.
If the thermostat is not turning on, check the batteries to ensure they are installed correctly and have sufficient charge. Replace the batteries if necessary. If the issue persists, check the power supply and connections to the thermostat.
To reset the Salus ERT20TX to factory settings, locate the reset button, usually situated under the battery cover. Press and hold it for about 10 seconds until the screen goes blank and restarts.
Ensure that the thermostat is correctly paired with the receiver. Check the signal strength and replace the batteries if they are low. If these steps don't help, try resetting the thermostat.
To change the temperature display, access the settings menu on your thermostat. Look for the temperature unit option and toggle between Celsius and Fahrenheit as preferred.
Regularly check the battery level every 3-6 months and replace them as needed. Ensure the device is clean and free from dust. Annually inspect the connections and pairing status with the receiver.
Currently, the Salus ERT20TX does not support direct firmware updates. Ensure the device is functioning correctly by keeping it clean and checking pairings and connections.
The Salus ERT20TX is designed primarily for single-zone control. For multi-zone systems, consider using additional compatible thermostats or a centralized control system.
The wireless range of the Salus ERT20TX is approximately 30 meters indoors, depending on obstructions such as walls and furniture. Ensure there are minimal barriers to maintain a strong connection.
Check the battery level and replace if low. Ensure the thermostat and receiver are within the wireless range and that there are minimal obstructions. Re-pair the devices if necessary and reset the thermostat if the problem persists.
