To start recording a video, press the video recording button located on the top of the camera. Ensure the camera is in video mode by checking the LCD display.
Visit the Ricoh official website to download the latest firmware. Transfer the firmware file to a formatted SD card, insert it into the camera, and follow the on-screen instructions to update.
To extend battery life, reduce the LCD screen brightness, turn off Wi-Fi when not in use, and disable any unused features such as the GPS. Also, consider carrying a spare battery for extended use.
Ensure the battery is charged and properly inserted. If the camera still does not turn on, try removing the battery and memory card, then reinsert them. If the problem persists, contact Ricoh customer support.
Connect the camera to your computer using the provided USB cable, or remove the SD card and use a card reader. Then, transfer the files using your computer's file management system.
For underwater video recording, use the underwater mode available in the settings. This mode optimizes color balance and contrast for underwater environments. Consider using additional lighting if necessary.
Use a soft, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the lens. If necessary, slightly dampen the cloth with water or lens cleaner. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
The Ricoh WG-M2 is designed to operate in temperatures ranging from -10°C to 40°C. For usage outside this range, ensure to take necessary precautions like keeping the camera close to your body in cold environments.
To reset the Ricoh WG-M2, go to the setup menu, select 'Reset', and confirm your choice. This will restore all settings to their default values.
For optimal performance, use a high-speed microSD card, such as UHS-I U1 or higher. Ensure the card is formatted in the camera before use.
