Connecting/Disconnecting the Computer

1 Turn off the computer. Disconnect all the devices and cables and close the terminal cover.

2 Connect the AC adaptor (supplied with the computer) to DC- IN jack of the Cradle.

Connect the AC cord (supplied with the computer) to the AC adaptor, and connect to an AC outlet. To AC outlet

3 Connect the computer to the Cradle. Insert the computer to the Cradle from above.

Make sure to turn the computer off for connection/disconnection. Do not connect or disconnect the Cradle while the computer is powered on or in

the sleep (Windows Vista), standby (Windows XP) or hibernation mode.

Refer to the OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS accompanying computer for information on proper handling of the AC adaptor and AC cord.

CAUTION

Do not attempt to make connections if there is any object between the computer and the Cradle. Doing so could damage the computer and the Cradle.

Battery Charging There are 2 ways to charge the battery.

Charging the battery pack attached to the computer. When you attach the computer ( steps 1 to 3 on page 6) with the AC adaptor at- tached to the Cradle, the battery attached to the computer is automatically charged.

it is securely inserted.

The battery remaining level will be indicated after the battery pack is completely recognized. Battery pack or Cradle may not be working properly. Quickly remove the battery pack and disconnect the AC adaptor, then connect them again. If the light continues to blink red, the battery pack or Cradle may be faulty. Charging has been temporarily terminated as the internal temperature of the battery pack is outside the range possible for charging. Charging will start automatically when the temperature is restored to within this range. Please wait. This battery pack is not fully charged and the other battery pack is being charged. Or the battery pack is not properly inserted.

Die Akkus knnen auch aufgeladen werden, wenn mit dem Computer verbunden sind. Werden die Akkuladefcher staubig, wischen Sie die gewlbten Rckseiten mit einem trockenen Tuch ab.

Anschlieen/Entfernen des Computers

1 Schalten Sie den Computer aus. Trennen Sie alle Gerte und Kabel vom Computer, und schlieen Sie die An- schlussabdeckung.

2 Schlieen Sie den Netzadapter (im Lieferumfang des Com- puters) an der Gleichstrom-Eingangsbuchse der Cradle an.

Schlieen Sie das Netzkabel (im Lieferum- fang des Computers) mit den entsprechen- den Steckern zuerst am Netzadapter und anschlieend an der Steckdose an.

Zur Steckdose

3 Schlieen Sie den Computer an der Cradle an.

Setzen Sie den Computer von oben in die Cradle ein.

Vergewissern Sie sich, dass der Computer ausgeschaltet ist, bevor er an der Cradle ang- eschlossen oder aus ihr entfernt wird.

Der Computer darf beim Anschlieen oder Entfernen weder eingeschaltet noch im Ener- giesparmodus (Windows Vista), Bereitschaftsmodus (Windows XP) oder Ruhezustand sein.

Bewegen Sie die Cradle nicht, whrend Sie den Computer an sie anschlieen. Wenn der Computer in der angeschlossenen Cradle nicht ordnungsgem funk- tioniert, entfernen Sie den Computer aus der Cradle ( unten), und berprfen Sie, ob er normal funktioniert. Laden des Akkus Der Akku kann auf zwei verschiedene Arten geladen werden.

So laden Sie den Akku, wenn er am Computer angeschlossen ist: Wenn Sie den Computer mit der Cradle verbinden ( Schritte 1 bis 3 auf Seite 14) und der Netzadapter am Cradle angeschlossen ist, wird der am Computer angeschlos- sene Akku automatisch aufgeladen.

So laden Sie den Akku im Akkuladefach der Cradle: 1 Schlieen Sie den Netzadapter an der Cradle an ( Schritt 2 auf Seite 14). 2 Entfernen Sie den Akku vom Computer ( Reference Manual). 3 Setzen Sie den Akku in das Akkuladefach der Cradle ein, berprfen Sie dann,

ob es richtig sitzt.

Ladevorgang findet statt. Akkupack ist vollstndig aufgeladen. Der Akkuladezustand kann anhand der Anzahl der Blinkvorgnge ermittelt werden.

Nachdem der Akku vollstndig erkannt worden ist, wird die Restspannung angezeigt. Das Akkupack oder das Cradle funktioniert mglicherweise nicht richtig. Entfernen Sie sofort das Akkupack und trennen Sie den Netzadapter und schlieen Sie beide wieder an. Blinkt die Lampe weiterhin rot, ist das Akkupack oder das Cradle mglicherweise defekt. Der Ladevorgang wurde vorbergehend abgebrochen, weil die Innentemperatur des Akkupacks auerhalb des fr den Ladevorgang zulssigen Bereichs liegt. Der Ladevorgang wird automatisch fortgesetzt, sobald die Temperatur wieder im zulssigen Bereich liegt. Bitte warten. Dieses Akkupack ist nicht vollstndig aufgeladen, und das andere Akkupack wird momentan geladen. Oder das Akkupack wurde nicht richtig eingesetzt.

Connexion/Dconnexion de lordinateur

1 Mettez lordinateur hors tension. Dconnectez tous les priphriques et les cbles, puis fermez le cache du terminal.

2 Connectez ladaptateur secteur (fourni avec lordinateur) la prise DCIN de la Station daccueil.

Connectez le cordon secteur (fourni avec lordinateur) ladaptateur secteur, puis connectez-le une prise secteur.

Vers prise secteur

3 Connectez lordinateur en Station daccueil.

Insrez lordinateur en Station daccueil en un mouvement de haut en bas.

Pensez mettre lordinateur hors tension avant de le connecter/dconnecter. Abstenez-vous de connecter/dconnecter la Station daccueil tandis que lordina-

teur est sous tension, en veille ou en veille prolonge.

1 Mettez lordinateur hors tension.

2 Dconnectez lordinateur. Maintenez et soulevez lordinateur.

Pour connecter et configurer les priphriques USB, les crans externes et le rseau LAN, voir Reference Manual de lordinateur.

Nessayez pas de dplacer la Station daccueil lorsque vous connectez lordinateur en Station daccueil.

Si lordinateur fonctionne mal tandis que la Station daccueil est connect, retirez ce dernier ( ci-dessous) et vrifiez que lordinateur fonctionne normalement. Si cest le cas, le problme provient peut-tre de la Station daccueil. Contactez le service technique Panasonic.

Charge de la batterie Vous pouvez charger la batterie de deux manires.

Charge avec la batterie insre dans lordinateur Lorsque vous connectez lordinateur ( tapes 1 3 , page 22) avec ladaptateur secteur connect en Station daccueil, la batterie insre dans lordinateur se charge automatiquement.

Charge avec la batterie connecte en Station daccueil 1 Connectez ladaptateur secteur en Station daccueil. ( tape 2 , page 22) 2 Retirez la batterie de lordinateur. ( Reference Manual) 3 Insrez la batterie dans le logement de charge de la batterie de la Station dac-

cueil, puis assurez-vous quelle est bien insre.

Charge en cours Charge complte Vous pouvez vrifier le niveau de charge de la batterie en observant le nombre de clignotements.

Le niveau de la charge restante de la batterie sera indiqu une fois la batterie compltement reconnue. La batterie ou la Station daccueil pourraient ne pas fonctionner correctement. Enlevez la batterie et dbranchez ladaptateur secteur le plus vite possible, puis remettezles en place. Si la lumire continue de clignoter en rouge, la batterie ou la Station daccueil pourraient tre dfectueux. La recharge a t provisoirement interrompue car la temprature interne de la batterie se situe hors de la plage admise pour la recharge. La recharge recommencera automatiquement ds que la temprature se trouvera de nouveau lintrieur de cette plage. Attendez svp. Cette batterie nest pas compltement charge et lautre batterie est en cours de charge. Ou bien la batterie nest pas correctement installe.
