Panasonic AW-RP150G Operating Instructions

To connect the AW-RP150G to a network, use an Ethernet cable to connect the LAN port on the controller to your network switch or router. Ensure that the network settings such as IP address, subnet mask, and gateway are configured correctly in the controller's menu.
First, check the connection of the joystick to ensure it is securely connected. If the connection is fine, restart the controller. If the problem persists, you may need to recalibrate the joystick or contact Panasonic support for further assistance.
To update the firmware, download the latest firmware version from the Panasonic website. Copy it to a USB drive, insert the drive into the USB port on the controller, and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update process.
The AW-RP150G can control up to 200 cameras via IP connection. Ensure that each camera is correctly configured with a unique IP address to avoid conflicts.
To perform a factory reset, navigate to the system settings in the menu, and select the option for 'Factory Reset.' Confirm the action when prompted. Note that this will erase all custom settings.
The AW-RP150G is designed to control Panasonic cameras. While it might work with some third-party cameras that use similar protocols, it is not guaranteed. Check the camera's compatibility before attempting to connect.
The speed of pan and tilt movements can be adjusted in the camera control settings menu. Select the desired camera, and then adjust the speed settings for pan and tilt to your preference.
Ensure the camera is powered on and properly connected to the network. Verify that the camera's IP address is correctly set in the controller’s settings. Restart both the camera and the controller if necessary.
To save a preset, position the camera as desired, then press the 'Preset' button followed by a preset number. To recall, simply press the corresponding preset number.
Regularly check and update the firmware to ensure optimal performance. Clean the unit with a soft, dry cloth to prevent dust build-up. Avoid using chemical cleaners as they may damage the unit.
