To load paper into the Oki Microline 320 Turbo, ensure the printer is turned off. Open the paper guide and insert the paper from the back, adjusting the paper feed guides to fit the paper width. Close the paper guide and turn on the printer.
If the printer is not pulling paper correctly, check for any obstructions in the paper path. Ensure the paper is loaded correctly and the guides are properly aligned. Clean the paper feed rollers if necessary.
For print quality issues, check the ribbon cartridge for wear. Replace if necessary. Ensure the print head is clean and that paper is loaded correctly. Adjust the print head gap lever for optimal distance from the paper.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the printer and print head, checking and replacing the ribbon cartridge as needed, and ensuring the paper path is free of debris.
To replace the ribbon, turn off the printer and open the access cover. Remove the old ribbon by lifting it out and insert the new ribbon cartridge, ensuring it is properly seated. Close the access cover and turn the printer back on.
If text is faded or incomplete, replace the ribbon cartridge if it's worn. Ensure the print head is clean and the paper is correctly aligned. Adjust the print head gap lever for proper contact with the paper.
To clear a paper jam, turn off the printer and carefully open the access cover. Gently remove the jammed paper, ensuring no pieces are left inside. Close the cover and turn the printer back on.
If the printer is not turning on, check the power connection and ensure the outlet is working. Verify that the power switch is in the 'on' position. If it still doesn't turn on, consult a technician.
To adjust the print head gap, locate the gap lever on the printer and move it to the desired position based on the thickness of the paper. Test print to ensure optimal print quality.
To perform a self-test, turn off the printer, hold down the 'LF/FF' button, and turn the printer back on. Release the button once the test begins. The printer will print a test page.
