To unlock Luigi in Super Mario Galaxy 2, you need to complete the first Bowser level. After that, Luigi will occasionally appear on certain levels. Once you complete those levels with Luigi, you'll unlock him as a playable character for any level.
If your game freezes, try pressing the power button on your console to reset it. Ensure the game disc is clean and free from scratches. If the problem persists, check for any system updates for your Wii console.
Green Stars appear after you complete the game by defeating Bowser. Each galaxy will have additional Green Stars to find, and they are often hidden in areas that require exploration and precise platforming. Pay attention to sound cues and unusual camera angles that may hint at their locations.
Ensure the Wii Remote has fresh batteries and is synced with the Wii console. Check that there are no obstructions between the remote and the sensor bar. If issues persist, try re-syncing the remote by pressing the red sync button on the console and the remote.
Super Mario Galaxy 2 automatically saves your progress after completing a level or collecting a star. Make sure not to turn off the console while the game is saving to avoid data corruption.
To defeat Bowser, focus on avoiding his attacks and wait for the chance to counterattack when he exposes himself. Use the spin move to hit the meteors back at him when they are close. Timing and patience are key to winning this battle.
The Grandmaster Galaxy is unlocked after you collect all 120 Power Stars and all 120 Green Stars. It is located in World S and is one of the most challenging galaxies in the game.
If your Wii is not reading the game disc, first check the disc for scratches or dirt and clean it gently with a soft cloth. Ensure the disc is inserted correctly. If the problem continues, try another game disc to determine if the issue is with the console or the game disc itself.
To improve performance in time trials, practice the levels to learn the most efficient paths and optimize your movements. Focus on collecting time-extending clocks and avoid unnecessary actions that can slow you down.
Comet Medals are usually located in hard-to-reach areas within each galaxy. Keep an eye out for alternate paths or platforms, and listen for sound cues. Experiment with different camera angles to spot hidden areas where Comet Medals might be located.
