Remove the detergent dispenser by pulling it out gently. Rinse it under warm water to remove any residue or buildup. Reinsert it securely after cleaning.
Regularly clean the drum with a damp cloth, check and clean the filter, and run a tub clean cycle once a month to maintain optimal performance.
Ensure the washing machine is level on the floor. Check if the shipping bolts have been removed. Avoid overloading and evenly distribute laundry within the drum.
Check if the drain hose is kinked or clogged. Ensure the drain filter is clean and free from debris. Use the Drain+Spin cycle to remove excess water.
Use the steam function if available, and remove clothes promptly after the cycle ends. Shake garments out and hang them immediately to minimize wrinkles.
Download the LG SmartThinQ app, open it, and press the Smart Diagnosis button. Follow the prompts to place your phone's mouthpiece near the power button for diagnosis.
Use high-efficiency (HE) detergent for best results. Avoid using regular detergent as it may cause excessive suds and impact performance.
Unplug the machine from the power outlet for approximately 10 seconds. Plug it back in and turn the machine on to reset it.
