To reset the temperature settings, press and hold the 'Freezer' and 'Refrigerator' buttons simultaneously for five seconds until you hear a beep. This will reset the temperature to the default setting.
Ensure that the refrigerator is plugged in and the circuit breaker is not tripped. Check if the vents inside the fridge are blocked, which could hinder air circulation. Also, consider cleaning the condenser coils and checking the thermostat settings.
Locate the water filter compartment inside the refrigerator. Turn the old filter counterclockwise to remove it. Insert the new filter and turn it clockwise until it locks. Run water through the new filter for about 5 minutes to remove any air or residue.
Use a mixture of mild dish soap and warm water to clean the shelves and compartments. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they can damage the surfaces. Rinse with clean water and dry with a soft cloth.
Check the door seals for any gaps or damage, as warm air entering the freezer can cause ice buildup. Defrost the freezer manually by unplugging the unit and allowing the ice to melt. Once defrosted, clean and dry the interior before plugging the refrigerator back in.
Noises can be caused by the refrigerator not being level. Adjust the leveling legs to ensure that the refrigerator is stable. Additionally, check for any loose items inside the refrigerator that might be vibrating.
It is recommended to clean the condenser coils every 6 months to ensure efficient operation. Use a vacuum cleaner or a soft brush to remove dust and debris from the coils.
Ensure that the water supply valve is open and that the water line is not kinked. Check if the water filter is clogged and needs replacement. If the problem persists, the water inlet valve might need inspection or replacement.
Unplug the refrigerator. Locate the light cover inside the fridge and remove it by turning it counterclockwise or by releasing any clips. Replace the bulb with a new one of the same type and wattage, then reattach the cover.
Regularly check and clean the door seals, ensure the refrigerator is level, clean the condenser coils every 6 months, and replace the water filter every 6 months or as needed. Monitor and adjust the temperature settings to suit your storage needs.
