To change the water filter, locate the filter compartment inside the refrigerator. Turn the filter counterclockwise to remove it. Insert the new filter and turn it clockwise until it locks in place. Run water through the dispenser for about 5 minutes to flush the system.
First, check if the refrigerator is plugged in and the circuit breaker is not tripped. Ensure that the temperature settings are correct. Clean the condenser coils at the back or bottom of the fridge. If the problem persists, contact LG customer support for further assistance.
To adjust the temperature, press the “Freezer” or “Refrigerator” button on the control panel until you reach the desired temperature. Allow 24 hours for the temperature to stabilize.
Remove all food items and detachable shelves. Use a solution of mild soap and warm water to wipe down the interior surfaces. Rinse with a clean damp cloth and dry thoroughly before replacing shelves and food.
To reset the ice maker, locate the test button on the ice maker unit. Press and hold the button for about 3 seconds until you hear the ice maker cycle. Release the button and allow 24 hours for ice production to resume.
Unusual noises can be caused by items inside touching or vibrating. Ensure the refrigerator is level and check for any loose items. Normal operational sounds include humming, clicking, or water dripping. If noises persist, contact LG support.
The LG LSXS22423B Refrigerator is equipped with an automatic defrost system, so manual defrosting is not necessary. However, ensure regular cleaning and maintenance to keep it running efficiently.
Clean the door seals with warm soapy water and a soft cloth. Check for any obstructions or damage. If the seals are damaged, they may need to be replaced. Contact LG for replacement parts and instructions.
Store raw meat and seafood on the bottom shelf to prevent cross-contamination. Keep fruits and vegetables in the designated crisper drawers. Use airtight containers for leftovers and regularly check expiration dates to maintain freshness.
Ensure the water supply line is connected and the water valve is turned on. Check the water filter for clogs and replace if necessary. If the dispenser is still not working, there may be an issue with the internal dispenser mechanism, and you should contact LG support.
