To replace the water filter, turn off the water supply. Locate the filter at the upper left corner of the refrigerator. Turn the old filter counterclockwise to remove it. Install the new filter by turning it clockwise until it is secure. Turn on the water supply and check for leaks.
The noise could be due to the compressor, or the evaporator fan motor. Check if the refrigerator is level and that nothing inside is vibrating. If the noise persists, contact LG customer service for support.
The refrigerator is equipped with an automatic defrost system. If manual defrosting is needed, remove all items, unplug the refrigerator, and allow the ice to melt. Wipe away any water and plug the unit back in.
Water leakage could be due to a blocked defrost drain, improper leveling, or a faulty water filter. Ensure the refrigerator is level, check and clean the defrost drain, and ensure the water filter is installed correctly.
Unplug the refrigerator and locate the condenser coils at the back or underneath the unit. Use a vacuum cleaner or a brush to gently clean off dust and debris. Plug the refrigerator back in after cleaning.
Use the temperature control panel inside the refrigerator to adjust the settings. Set the refrigerator section to 37°F (3°C) and the freezer section to 0°F (-18°C) for optimal performance.
Ensure the ice maker is turned on and the water line is connected. Check the water filter for clogs and replace it if necessary. If the problem persists, consult the user manual or contact LG support.
Unplug the refrigerator before changing the light bulb. Locate the light cover and remove it by gently pressing the release tabs. Replace the bulb with a new one of the same size and wattage. Reattach the cover and plug the refrigerator back in.
