To perform a self-cleaning cycle, remove oven racks and any other items inside the oven. Close the door and select the Self Clean option on the control panel. Choose the desired cleaning duration and press Start to begin the cycle.
If the oven door remains locked after a self-clean cycle, allow the oven to cool completely. If it still does not unlock, try cycling the power by turning off the circuit breaker for a few minutes, then turning it back on.
First, check if the range is properly plugged in and if the circuit breaker is not tripped. Ensure that the oven settings are correct and that the temperature is set appropriately. If the issue persists, it might require a service technician.
Use cookware that is magnetic and has a flat bottom, such as cast iron or certain stainless steel. To test, try placing a magnet on the bottom of the cookware; if it sticks, it is suitable for induction cooking.
Press the Clock button on the control panel. Use the number pads to enter the time, then press Start to set the clock.
Refer to the user manual for error code details. Often, turning off the range at the circuit breaker for a few minutes can reset the system. If the error persists, contact LG customer support for assistance.
Use the convection feature when baking, as it cooks faster and more evenly. Keep the oven door closed as much as possible to retain heat, and use the appropriate size cookware for the burners.
To lock the control panel, press and hold the Lock button for three seconds. This will disable the controls until the button is held again for three seconds to unlock.
Regularly clean the range surfaces and oven interior to prevent buildup. Check the door seal for wear and ensure the burners are free of obstructions. Schedule professional maintenance if any parts appear damaged or malfunctioning.
While aluminum foil can be used to cover dishes to prevent over-browning, avoid lining the oven bottom with foil as it can block heat and affect performance. Always follow the manufacturer's guidelines when using aluminum foil.
