To start a wash cycle, load the dishwasher, add detergent, select the desired cycle using the control panel, and then press the 'Start' button. Ensure the door is securely closed.
Check for blockages in the drain hose and ensure the sink's drain is clear. Clean the filter and check if the drain pump is functioning. Refer to the user manual for detailed troubleshooting steps.
Remove the bottom rack and locate the filter at the bottom of the dishwasher. Turn it counterclockwise to remove. Rinse it under running water and use a soft brush if necessary. Reinstall the filter by turning it clockwise.
Loud noises can be caused by items interfering with the spray arm, or a malfunctioning motor or pump. Ensure no items are loose or improperly loaded, and check if the spray arm is unobstructed.
Clean the filter monthly, check and clean spray arms every few months, and wipe down the door seals regularly. Conduct a deep clean cycle with dishwasher cleaner every 3-6 months.
Inspect door seals for damage or debris. Ensure the dishwasher is level and check for leaks in the water inlet and drain hoses. Tighten connections if necessary.
The LG LSDT9908SS features an inverter direct drive motor for efficient energy use and has cycles like Eco, which use less water and energy. The half-load option also saves resources for smaller loads.
To adjust the upper rack, lift the rack and guide it to the desired height setting. Ensure both sides are adjusted evenly to prevent tilting.
Ensure proper loading without blocking spray arms. Check for clogged spray holes and clean them if necessary. Use the recommended amount of detergent and ensure the water temperature is at least 120°F (49°C).
To reset, turn off the dishwasher, unplug it, or turn off the circuit breaker for a few minutes. Restore power and try starting a new cycle.
