To reset the water filter indicator, press and hold the 'Filter Reset' button for about 3 seconds. The indicator light will turn off when the system is reset.
Ensure that the refrigerator is plugged in and the temperature settings are correct. Check for blockages in the air vents and make sure the door seals are clean and sealing properly.
To change the light bulb, unplug the refrigerator, remove the light cover by pressing the release tab, and replace the old bulb with a new one of the same type and wattage.
The recommended temperature setting for the refrigerator compartment is 37°F (3°C) and for the freezer compartment is 0°F (-18°C).
To clean the condenser coils, unplug the refrigerator, locate the coils usually at the back or bottom, and use a vacuum cleaner or a coil brush to remove dust and debris.
The LG LSC24971ST is a frost-free model, so manual defrosting is not required. If frost builds up, check the door seals and ensure the door is closing properly.
To adjust the shelves, tilt the front of the shelf up and lift it out of the track. Place it in the desired position and lower the front back into place.
Check if the refrigerator is level and ensure it is not in contact with other objects. Some noise is normal, but if it persists, check for loose parts or call for service.
The air filter should be replaced approximately every 6 months to ensure optimal performance and to maintain air quality inside the refrigerator.
Using the LG LSC24971ST in a garage is not recommended as temperature extremes can affect its performance. It's best used in a temperature-controlled environment.
