To adjust the temperature settings, press the Refrigerator or Freezer button on the control panel to cycle through the available temperature settings until you reach the desired temperature.
Check if the refrigerator is plugged in properly, ensure that the doors are closing completely, and verify that the vents inside the fridge are not blocked. If the issue persists, consider contacting LG support for further assistance.
It is recommended to clean the condenser coils at least twice a year to ensure efficient operation. Use a vacuum cleaner or a coil cleaning brush for best results.
Water pooling can be caused by a blocked defrost drain. Clear the drain using warm water to remove any clogs. You may need to use a pipe cleaner or a similar tool to clear stubborn blockages.
Locate the water filter compartment, twist the old filter counterclockwise to remove it, and insert the new filter by twisting it clockwise until it locks into place. Run water through the dispenser for a few minutes to clear any air or impurities.
Error Code 22 indicates a compressor relay issue. Try unplugging the refrigerator for about 30 seconds and then plugging it back in. If the error persists, contact LG customer support for further diagnosis.
Regularly clean the interior with a solution of baking soda and water, and keep an open box of baking soda inside the fridge to absorb odors. Ensure that food is sealed properly in containers to prevent odor transfer.
Unusual noises can be due to several reasons, such as the refrigerator not being level, items inside vibrating, or the ice maker filling with water. Ensure the fridge is level and items inside are secure. If the noise continues, consult the user manual or contact support.
Regularly clean the condenser coils, replace the water filter every six months, ensure door seals are intact and clean, and check the temperature settings periodically.
To reset the ice maker, locate the on/off switch or reset button on the ice maker unit. Turn it off, wait a few minutes, and then turn it back on. If available, press the test button to initiate a cycle.
