To set the oven temperature, press the "Bake" button, then use the number pad to enter the desired temperature. Press "Start" to begin preheating.
Check that the oven is properly connected to a power source. Ensure the circuit breaker is not tripped. If the issue persists, contact LG service for assistance.
Use a ceramic cooktop cleaner and a non-abrasive scrub pad. Apply the cleaner, scrub gently, and wipe with a clean, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
It is not recommended to use aluminum foil to line the oven bottom as it can cause poor heat distribution and affect cooking results. Use it only as directed in specific recipes.
Regularly clean the oven and cooktop, check and replace worn oven seals, and avoid using excessive force on the door. Ensure the oven is calibrated correctly for accurate temperature readings.
Remove all racks and accessories from the oven. Close the door, select "Self Clean," and then choose a cleaning time. Press "Start" to begin the cycle. Allow the oven to cool before wiping the interior.
Ensure the range is properly plugged in and the circuit breaker is not tripped. If the control panel is still unresponsive, try resetting it by unplugging the range for a few minutes and then plugging it back in.
Use the convection feature for more even baking. Make sure to place pans in the center of the oven and avoid overcrowding. Rotate pans halfway through the baking time for consistent results.
Smoke can result from food spills or grease build-up. Ensure the oven is clean before use. If smoke persists, check for any remaining food debris or spills and clean them up.
Ensure the oven is off and cool. Remove the light cover by turning it counterclockwise. Replace the bulb with a new 40-watt appliance bulb. Reattach the cover by turning it clockwise.
