To reset the temperature settings, press the "Refrigerator" or "Freezer" button on the control panel. Adjust the temperature using the buttons until the desired setting is reached.
First, check if the refrigerator door is sealing properly. Ensure that the vents inside the fridge are not blocked by food items. If the issue persists, consider cleaning the condenser coils and checking the temperature settings.
Locate the water filter at the upper left corner inside the fridge. Turn the filter counterclockwise to remove it. Insert a new filter and turn it clockwise until it locks in place. Run water through the dispenser for a few minutes to clear any air.
Ice buildup can occur due to a faulty door seal or a clogged defrost drain. Check the door gasket for damage and replace if necessary. Clean the defrost drain by flushing it with warm water.
To use Smart Diagnosis, open the LG SmartThinQ app on your smartphone. Press and hold the "Freezer" button for three seconds. Place the phone's microphone near the speaker located on the right hinge of the fridge door.
Loud noises can be caused by a variety of factors, including a vibrating tray, a clogged condenser fan, or ice buildup. Check and secure trays, clean the fan, and ensure proper airflow within the refrigerator.
Unplug the refrigerator and locate the condenser coils, usually at the back or beneath the unit. Use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to remove dust and debris. Clean the coils every six months for optimal performance.
Ensure the ice maker is turned on and the water line is connected. Check for any ice blockages and see if the freezer temperature is set correctly. If the problem persists, consult the user manual or contact LG support.
The air filter should be replaced approximately every six months to maintain optimal air quality and odor control within the refrigerator.
Place raw meats on the lower shelves to prevent dripping onto other foods. Store dairy in the center, fruits and vegetables in the crisper drawer, and condiments in the door shelves. Ensure proper air circulation by not overloading the shelves.
