To change the water filter, locate the filter compartment inside the refrigerator. Twist the old filter counterclockwise to remove it. Insert the new filter and twist it clockwise until it locks into place. Reset the filter indicator light by pressing the reset button.
If the refrigerator is not cooling, check that the vents inside are not blocked by food items. Ensure the doors are sealing properly and not left open. Verify the temperature settings and adjust if necessary. Clean the condenser coils at the back of the unit if they are dusty.
First, ensure the ice maker is turned on. Check the water supply line for any kinks or blockages. Make sure the freezer temperature is set to an appropriate level. If the problem persists, inspect the ice maker's ejector arm for obstructions.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the condenser coils every six months, replacing the water filter every six months, and wiping down the door seals to ensure they are clean and sealing properly.
To reset the control panel, unplug the refrigerator from the power outlet, wait about 5 minutes, and then plug it back in. This can help resolve minor glitches in the system.
Check the water line connections for any leaks or damage. Ensure the water filter is installed correctly and not cracked. Inspect the drain pan to see if it's full or improperly positioned.
To prevent odors, regularly clean the interior with a mixture of baking soda and water. Store food in sealed containers, and promptly dispose of expired products. You can also place an open box of baking soda inside to absorb odors.
The recommended temperature setting for the refrigerator is 37°F (3°C) and 0°F (-18°C) for the freezer. Adjust as needed based on the ambient temperature and load inside the unit.
To activate the Door Alarm feature, press the 'Alarm' button on the control panel until the indicator light turns on. This will alert you if the refrigerator door is left open for an extended period.
Unusual noises may be due to the refrigerator not being level. Adjust the leveling legs to stabilize the unit. Check for any loose items on top or inside the refrigerator that might be vibrating. If the noise persists, contact customer support.
