To reset the water filter indicator light, press and hold the 'Filter Reset' button for 3 seconds. The indicator light should turn off, indicating that the reset was successful.
Ensure that the refrigerator is plugged in and the thermostat is set to the correct temperature. Check if the vents inside are blocked and clean the condenser coils if necessary. If the issue persists, consider contacting LG customer support.
Locate the water filter compartment inside the refrigerator. Turn the old filter counterclockwise to remove it. Insert the new filter and rotate it clockwise until it is secure. Run water through the dispenser for a few minutes to clear any air or impurities.
Water pooling can be caused by a blocked defrost drain. Try cleaning the drain with a warm water and baking soda mixture. If the problem continues, inspect the door seals for damage or wear.
To adjust the temperature, locate the control panel on the front of the refrigerator. Use the 'Refrigerator' or 'Freezer' buttons to set the desired temperature. Allow 24 hours for the new settings to stabilize.
Ice buildup can be due to a faulty door seal or frequent door opening. Ensure the door closes completely and check for any gaps in the seal. Defrosting the freezer may also be necessary to resolve the issue.
It is recommended to clean the condenser coils every 6 to 12 months to ensure efficient operation. Use a vacuum or a coil brush to remove dust and debris from the coils.
First, check that the ice maker is turned on and the water supply is connected. Ensure the ice maker arm is not blocked. If the issue persists, inspect the water inlet valve and replace it if necessary.
Noises can be caused by the refrigerator not being level or items vibrating inside. Level the fridge using the adjustable feet and ensure items are not in contact with internal surfaces. If the noise continues, check the fan or compressor for issues.
Locate the light cover inside the refrigerator. Remove the cover by either snapping it off or unscrewing it, depending on the model. Replace the bulb with a new one of the same type and wattage, then reattach the cover.
