To reset the water filter indicator, press and hold the 'Filter Reset' button for 3 seconds. The indicator light should turn off.
First, ensure the refrigerator is plugged in and the circuit breaker is not tripped. Check the temperature settings and ensure vents inside the refrigerator are not blocked. If the issue persists, consider cleaning the condenser coils and checking the door seals for damage.
Ensure the ice maker is turned on and the water supply is connected. Check for any kinks or blockages in the water line. If the ice maker still doesn't produce ice, try resetting it by turning it off for a few minutes and then turning it back on.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the condenser coils every 6-12 months, checking and replacing the water filter every 6 months, and ensuring door seals are clean and intact.
To clean the condenser coils, unplug the refrigerator and locate the coils either at the back or underneath. Use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to remove dust and debris. For thorough cleaning, use a coil cleaning brush.
Water pooling can be due to a blocked defrost drain. To fix this, clear any debris from the drain hole located at the back of the freezer compartment. You may use warm water to flush the drain.
Use the temperature control panel located inside the refrigerator. Adjust the settings by pressing the 'Refrigerator' or 'Freezer' button to select the desired temperature.
First, remove any spoiled food. Clean the interior with a mixture of baking soda and water. Ensure that all food is properly sealed and check the drip pan for mold or residue.
Check for obstructions in the door path. Make sure the refrigerator is level. Inspect the door seals for damage and clean them with warm, soapy water to ensure a proper seal.
Unusual noises could be due to the refrigerator being unlevel, items inside vibrating, or the condenser fan or compressor malfunctioning. Ensure the refrigerator is level, rearrange contents, and check for any loose components.
