To reset the water filter indicator, press and hold the 'Filter Reset' button for approximately 3 seconds until the indicator light turns off.
First, ensure that the refrigerator is plugged in and receiving power. Check the temperature settings and make sure the vents are not blocked by food items. If the problem persists, consider cleaning the condenser coils and checking the door seals for any gaps.
Locate the filter compartment inside the refrigerator. Turn the filter counterclockwise to remove it. Insert the new filter and turn it clockwise until it is secure. Finally, run water through the dispenser for about 2.5 gallons to clear any air or impurities.
Refrigerator noises can be due to various reasons. Common causes include the compressor running, ice maker operation, or items vibrating against each other. Ensure the refrigerator is level and check for any loose parts. If the noise persists, consider contacting customer service.
To adjust the temperature, use the control panel located inside the refrigerator. Press the 'Refrigerator' button to cycle through the temperature settings. The recommended temperature is 37°F for the refrigerator and 0°F for the freezer.
Ensure the ice maker is turned on and the water line is connected. Check for any ice blockages in the bin or the ejector arm. If necessary, perform a manual reset by turning the ice maker off and on again.
It's recommended to clean the condenser coils every 6 months to ensure optimal performance. Use a vacuum or a coil brush to remove dust and debris.
Water pooling can result from a blocked defrost drain. To resolve this, remove any debris from the drain hole at the bottom of the fridge and pour a mixture of warm water and vinegar to clear any blockages.
To activate the child lock, press and hold the 'Child Lock' button on the control panel for 3 seconds. This will disable the controls, preventing accidental changes.
Ensure there are no obstructions preventing the door from closing. Check the door seals for damage or dirt that may cause gaps. If necessary, adjust the door hinges to ensure proper alignment.
