To reset the LG LDP6797BD dishwasher, turn off the circuit breaker for at least 10 seconds and then turn it back on. This will reset the control panel.
Check for blockages in the drain hose and garbage disposal. Ensure that the air gap is not clogged. Clean the dishwasher filter and ensure that the drain pump is functioning correctly.
Ensure that the rinse aid dispenser is filled, use the Extra Dry option, and avoid overcrowding the dishwasher to allow proper air circulation.
Use a dishwasher cleaner monthly. Alternatively, you can run an empty cycle with a cup of white vinegar on the top rack.
Noises may be due to items touching the spray arm. Ensure dishes and utensils are properly loaded and check for any loose items inside the unit.
Ensure the door is fully closed and latched. Check the circuit breaker and make sure the dishwasher is plugged in. Verify that the control lock feature is not activated.
Regularly clean the filter, inspect and clean the spray arms, check and clean the door gasket, and ensure that the dishwasher is leveled properly.
Use a high-quality detergent and rinse aid, run the dishwasher with hot water, and avoid using hard water if possible.
Check the door gasket for damage, ensure the dishwasher is level, and inspect the water inlet valve and hoses for leaks.
To adjust the upper rack, pull it out slightly, then lift and push upwards or pull downwards to the desired height position.
