To change the water filter, locate the filter compartment inside the refrigerator. Twist the old filter counterclockwise to remove it. Insert the new filter and twist it clockwise until it is secure. Run water through the dispenser for about 5 minutes to purge air and impurities.
Check if the refrigerator is plugged in and the circuit breaker is not tripped. Ensure the thermostat is set to the correct temperature. Clean the condenser coils and check the door seals for any gaps. If the issue persists, contact LG customer support.
To adjust the temperature, locate the control panel inside the refrigerator. Press the 'Refrigerator' button to cycle through the temperature settings. Adjust until you reach the desired temperature and wait 24 hours for the temperature to stabilize.
Water leakage inside the refrigerator can be caused by a blocked defrost drain. To fix it, clear any ice or debris blocking the drain located at the back of the fridge. If the problem continues, inspect the door seals for damage or wear.
The LG LBNC15231V has an automatic defrost system. However, if manual defrosting is needed, unplug the refrigerator, remove all food, and leave the doors open. After defrosting, clean up any water before plugging it back in.
Unusual noises may be due to the refrigerator not being level. Adjust the leveling feet so the appliance is stable. Also, ensure that it is not touching any walls or cabinets. If noises persist, inspect the condenser fan and compressor.
It is recommended to clean the condenser coils every 6 months to maintain efficiency. Use a vacuum cleaner or a coil brush to remove dust and debris from the coils located at the back or underneath the refrigerator.
Ensure the ice maker is turned on and the water line is connected. Check for any kinks in the water line and ensure the freezer temperature is set correctly. If there is still no ice, inspect the ice maker for any blockages or contact support.
To change the door direction, first unplug the refrigerator. Remove the top hinge cover and door. Transfer the hinge components to the opposite side. Reattach the door and hinge cover. Consult the manual for detailed instructions.
To clean the interior, unplug the refrigerator and remove all food items. Use a mixture of mild detergent and warm water. Wipe down all surfaces, including shelves and drawers. Rinse with a clean cloth and dry before restocking the fridge.
