Ensure that large items do not block the spray arms and that all dishes are angled to allow water to drain. Place larger items like pots and pans on the bottom rack and cups and smaller items on the top rack.
Check if the dishwasher is properly plugged in and that the door is fully closed. Also, ensure the water supply is turned on and that the circuit breaker hasn’t tripped.
Use a rinse aid to enhance drying performance. Also, ensure that the "Extra Dry" option is selected if available. Ensure dishes are properly loaded to avoid water pooling.
Regularly clean the filter and spray arms to prevent clogs. Wipe down the door gasket to ensure a good seal. Run a cleaning cycle with dishwasher cleaner monthly.
Cloudiness can be due to hard water. Use a rinse aid and consider adding a water softener if necessary. Ensure you're using the correct amount of detergent and not overloading the dishwasher.
Check that the water supply valve is open. Verify that the inlet hose is not kinked or blocked. Ensure the float switch is not stuck and is functioning properly.
Press and hold the start/reset button for about 3 seconds until the dishwasher beeps. This will cancel the current cycle and reset the dishwasher.
Ensure that items inside the dishwasher are not obstructing the spray arms. Check for any loose items in the filter area. Verify that the dishwasher is level and properly installed.
After a cycle, the dishes should be warm to the touch if the heating element is functioning. If not, you may need to have the heating element tested or replaced by a technician.
Remove the spray arms and rinse them under running water. Use a toothpick or similar tool to clear any blocked holes. Reattach them securely after cleaning.
