To reset your Kenwood KDW45X15 dishwasher, press and hold the 'Start/Pause' button for about 3-5 seconds until the lights on the control panel change. This indicates that the reset has been successful.
If your dishwasher is not draining, check if the drain hose is kinked or blocked. Also, inspect the filter and remove any debris. If the problem persists, the issue might be with the drain pump or the plumbing connection.
To clean the filter, remove the bottom rack to access the filter assembly at the base of the dishwasher. Twist the filter counterclockwise to remove it, then rinse it under running water to remove debris. Reinsert it by twisting it clockwise.
Ensure that you are not overloading the dishwasher and that dishes are positioned correctly. Check that the spray arms can rotate freely and are not clogged. Use the correct amount of detergent and choose the appropriate wash cycle for the load.
Inspect the door seal for damage or debris, ensuring it is clean and intact. Check the water inlet valve and hoses for any leaks. Tighten connections if necessary and replace any faulty parts.
Check if the dishwasher is properly plugged in and that the circuit breaker hasn't tripped. Ensure the door is fully closed and latched. Also, confirm that the water supply is turned on.
Place larger items such as pots and pans on the bottom rack, ensuring they do not block the spray arms. Place cups and glasses on the top rack upside down. Use designated areas for cutlery, ensuring they do not nest together.
Regularly clean the filter and check the spray arms for blockages. Inspect the door seal for damage. Run an empty cycle with a dishwasher cleaner monthly to prevent buildup.
Open the rinse aid dispenser cap and adjust the dial inside. The settings usually range from 1 to 6. Turn the dial to increase or decrease the amount of rinse aid used during the cycle.
The error code E4 indicates a water overflow fault. Check for leaks or excess water in the base of the dishwasher. Inspect the float switch and ensure the drain hose is not blocked.
