To start the Jonsered LT 2317 A Lawn Mower, ensure the parking brake is engaged, the blades are disengaged, and the throttle is set to the choke position. Turn the ignition key to start the engine.
Use regular unleaded gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 87. Avoid using ethanol blends higher than 10%.
Change the oil after the first 5 hours of use, and then every 50 hours of operation or at the start of each mowing season.
Check the blade engagement cable and ensure it is properly connected. Inspect the drive belt for wear or damage and replace if necessary.
Ensure the blades are sharp and balanced. Regularly clean the underside of the mower deck to prevent grass buildup. Adjust the cutting height to suit the grass conditions.
This could be due to a clogged air filter, bad fuel, or a faulty spark plug. Check and clean or replace these components as necessary.
First, disconnect the spark plug wire for safety. Remove the mower deck and take off the old belt. Install the new belt following the belt routing diagram. Reattach the mower deck and reconnect the spark plug wire.
Excessive vibration can be caused by unbalanced or damaged blades, loose hardware, or worn-out bearings. Inspect and address these components accordingly.
Drain the fuel system or add a fuel stabilizer. Change the oil, clean the mower, and remove the battery for storage in a cool, dry place. Cover the mower to protect it from dust and moisture.
The serial number is typically located on a sticker beneath the seat or on the frame near the rear wheels of the lawn mower.
