Janome Magnolia 7325 Instruction Book

To thread the Janome Magnolia 7325, first raise the presser foot and turn the handwheel to raise the needle. Place the spool on the spool pin and guide the thread through the thread guide at the top, then down around the tension disc. Continue threading down the machine, following the numbered threading path, finally threading the needle from front to back.
If your Janome Magnolia 7325 is skipping stitches, check to ensure the needle is correctly installed and not bent or damaged. Use the appropriate needle size and type for the fabric. Re-thread the machine, and make sure the bobbin is properly inserted.
Regularly clean your machine by removing lint and thread debris. Open the needle plate and use a small brush to clean the feed dogs and bobbin area. Periodically oil the machine according to the manual's instructions. Always unplug the machine before cleaning.
If the fabric is not feeding, ensure the presser foot is lowered. Check that the feed dogs are not lowered for free-motion quilting. Additionally, verify there is no lint build-up around the feed dogs.
Adjust the tension by using the tension dial located on the front of the machine. For most fabrics, a setting between 3 and 5 is suitable. Test on a scrap piece of fabric and make small adjustments as necessary.
For sewing denim, use a size 90/14 or 100/16 denim needle. These needles are designed to penetrate thick fabrics without breaking.
To troubleshoot a jammed bobbin case, first turn off the machine. Remove the needle plate and bobbin case. Clean any lint or thread blocking the area, then reinsert the bobbin correctly. Ensure the bobbin is wound evenly and not overfilled.
To sew a buttonhole, attach the buttonhole foot and select the buttonhole stitch. Mark the buttonhole position on the fabric. Lower the buttonhole lever and sew, following the machine's automatic sequence. Cut the buttonhole open with a seam ripper.
To change the needle, turn off the machine. Loosen the needle clamp screw and remove the old needle. Insert a new needle with the flat side facing the back, pushing it up as far as it will go. Tighten the needle clamp screw securely.
A loud noise during sewing can be due to a bent needle, incorrect threading, or lint accumulation. Replace the needle, re-thread the machine, and clean the bobbin area to resolve the issue.
