To clean the filters, remove them from the hood and wash them in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and let them dry completely before reinstalling. Alternatively, they can be washed in a dishwasher.
Check if any parts are loose and tighten them if necessary. Ensure the filters are properly installed. If the noise persists, contact a professional technician.
Carbon filters should be replaced every 3 to 6 months, depending on usage frequency and cooking habits.
Use a soft cloth and a mild detergent to wipe the surface. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or scrubbing pads. Regular cleaning will maintain its appearance.
Ensure that the filters are clean and not blocked. Check the ductwork for obstructions and make sure the fan is operating correctly.
While it is possible to install the hood yourself, it is recommended to have it installed by a professional to ensure safety and proper functionality.
Turn off the power to the hood, remove the light cover, and replace the bulb with a new one of the same type and wattage. Replace the cover securely.
Check the power supply and ensure the hood is properly connected. If the issue persists, reset the hood by turning off the power for a few minutes before turning it back on.
Ensure that the hood is properly mounted and not vibrating against cabinets or walls. Clean the filters regularly to avoid excessive fan strain.
Some condensation is normal, especially in humid environments or when cooking large amounts of steam-generating food. Ensure proper ventilation to minimize condensation.
