Honor X8 5G VNE-N41 Quick Start Guide

To perform a factory reset on your HONOR X8 5G, go to 'Settings' > 'System & updates' > 'Reset' > 'Reset phone'. Confirm the action and your phone will restart and reset to factory settings.
To take a screenshot, press and hold the 'Power' and 'Volume Down' buttons simultaneously until you see the screen capture animation.
Ensure your SIM card supports 5G and that you are in an area with 5G coverage. Go to 'Settings' > 'Mobile network' > 'Preferred network type' and select '5G/4G/3G/2G auto'.
Check if the charging cable and adapter are functioning properly by testing them with another device. Ensure the charging port is clean and debris-free. If the problem persists, try using a different power source or contact customer support.
To improve battery life, reduce screen brightness, limit background app activity, disable unused features like Bluetooth and location services, and enable battery saver mode when necessary.
Use the 'Phone Clone' app available on both Android and iOS. Install the app on both devices, follow the on-screen instructions to connect them, and select the data you wish to transfer.
Go to 'Settings' > 'System & updates' > 'Software update' and tap 'Check for updates'. If an update is available, follow the prompts to download and install it.
Remove any case to allow for better heat dissipation, reduce screen brightness, close unused apps, and avoid using the phone while charging. If the problem continues, restart the device or contact support.
Go to 'Settings' > 'Biometrics & password' > 'Fingerprint ID'. Follow the instructions to register your fingerprint and set it as a screen lock option.
To free up storage, delete unnecessary files and apps, move photos and videos to cloud storage, and clear app cache by going to 'Settings' > 'Storage'.
