Epson XP-440 User's Guide

To connect your Epson XP-440 to Wi-Fi, press the Home button, navigate to Wi-Fi Setup, and select Wi-Fi Setup Wizard. Follow the on-screen instructions to select your network name (SSID) and enter the password.
Check if the printer is turned on and connected to the same network as your computer. Ensure that there are no error messages on the printer's display and that the ink cartridges are installed correctly.
Open the scanner unit, then press the Stop button. Remove the empty cartridge by squeezing the tab on the cartridge and lifting it out. Insert the new cartridge into the holder and press it down until it clicks into place.
Check the ink levels and replace any empty cartridges. Run a nozzle check from the printer's maintenance menu to ensure nozzles are not clogged. Clean the print head if necessary.
Press the Home button, select Setup, then select Restore Default Settings. Choose All Settings to reset the printer to factory settings.
Place the document on the scanner bed, press the Home button, and select Scan. Choose your scan settings and press Start to begin scanning.
The print head may need cleaning. Run the Head Cleaning utility from the printer's maintenance menu to improve print quality.
Download the latest firmware from the Epson website. Connect your printer to a computer, run the downloaded firmware file, and follow the on-screen instructions to update.
The Epson XP-440 supports various paper types including plain paper, photo paper, and envelopes. Supported sizes include Letter, A4, 4x6 inches, 5x7 inches, and more.
Ensure you are using the correct paper type setting and quality setting for your print job. Clean the print head and align it using the maintenance tools available in the printer's setup menu.
