To connect the printer to a wireless network, access the printer's control panel. Navigate to 'Network Settings', select 'Wireless LAN Setup', and follow the on-screen instructions to connect to your Wi-Fi network. Ensure your network information is readily available.
If the printer is not recognizing the ink cartridges, ensure they are installed correctly. Open the front cover, remove and reinsert the cartridges, ensuring they click into place. Check for any debris and make sure the cartridges are genuine Epson products.
To clear paper jams, gently pull out any jammed paper from the front or rear of the printer. Ensure the paper trays are loaded correctly and not overfilled. Check for small pieces of paper stuck in the rollers and remove them carefully.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the printhead, checking for paper dust or debris, updating the printer firmware, and ensuring the printer is used regularly to prevent ink from drying in the nozzles.
To update the firmware, connect the printer to the internet, go to the 'Settings' menu on the control panel, select 'Firmware Update', and follow the prompts to download and install the latest firmware version.
Perform a printhead cleaning from the printer's control panel under 'Maintenance'. Check the ink levels and replace any low cartridges. Ensure the paper type setting matches the paper loaded, and align the printhead if necessary.
To enable double-sided printing, access the printer settings on your computer, select 'Print', then 'Properties' or 'Preferences', and choose 'Duplex Printing' or 'Two-Sided Printing'. Follow any additional prompts to complete the setup.
First, check the connection between the printer and computer, whether it's a USB cable or network connection. Ensure the printer is turned on and set as the default printer. Restart both the printer and computer, then attempt to print again.
Place the document on the scanner glass or in the ADF (Automatic Document Feeder). Use the control panel to select 'Scan', choose your scan settings, and select a destination. You can scan directly to a computer, email, or cloud service.
Store the printer in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Ensure it is powered off and covered to prevent dust accumulation. If possible, perform a printhead cleaning before storage to minimize ink drying in the nozzles.
