Ensure that the cartridges are compatible with the Epson Stylus Pro 4800. Remove and reinsert the cartridges, making sure they click into place. If the issue persists, try cleaning the cartridge contacts gently with a lint-free cloth.
To perform a nozzle check, access the printer's menu, select 'Maintenance', and then 'Nozzle Check'. Follow the on-screen instructions to print a test pattern and check for any gaps or missing lines.
Faded prints can be due to clogged nozzles or low ink levels. Run a nozzle check and clean the print heads if necessary. Ensure that the ink cartridges are full and correctly installed.
Turn off the printer and open the maintenance tank cover. Remove the old tank and replace it with a new one. Ensure it is securely in place and close the cover. Turn the printer back on and reset the tank counter in the printer settings.
Use the Epson printer driver software to access color management settings. Select 'Advanced' and adjust the ICC profiles according to your requirements. Test print to verify the settings achieve the desired color output.
Check for any obstructions in the paper path and remove them. Ensure the paper is loaded correctly and that it is not wrinkled or damp. Adjust the paper guides to fit the paper size snugly.
Connect the printer to your network using an Ethernet cable. Access the printer settings and configure the network settings to match your network configuration. Ensure that your computer is on the same network to send print jobs.
Regularly clean the print head using the printer's maintenance menu. Check and replace ink cartridges and the maintenance tank as needed. Keep the printer exterior clean and dust-free.
