To connect your projector to a computer, use a VGA cable. Plug one end into the computer's VGA port and the other into the projector's Computer 1/Computer 2 port. Switch the projector source to the corresponding input using the remote or projector control panel.
First, check that the power cable is securely connected and that there is power at the outlet. Ensure the power switch is in the 'ON' position. If the projector still doesn’t turn on, check the status of the power light for any error indications and consult the user manual for troubleshooting.
Turn off the projector and unplug it. Locate the air filter cover on the side of the projector, remove it, and take out the filter. Use a small vacuum cleaner to remove dust, or rinse the filter with water and let it dry completely before reinstalling.
Adjust the focus ring on the projector lens to sharpen the image. Make sure the projector is the correct distance from the screen and the lens is clean. Also, ensure the resolution settings on your computer match the projector's native resolution.
Turn off the projector and allow it to cool. Unscrew the lamp cover and remove it. Loosen the screws on the lamp module, then pull out the old lamp. Insert the new lamp and secure it with screws, then replace the cover.
Ensure that the air vents are not blocked and that the projector is not in a confined space. Clean the air filter if it is dirty. Check the room temperature and keep it within the recommended operating range.
The Epson PowerLite 8150i does not have built-in wireless capabilities. However, you can use a wireless HDMI kit or connect a compatible third-party wireless presentation system to enable wireless projection.
Use the Keystone correction buttons on the projector control panel or remote control to adjust the image until it appears rectangular. This is useful if the projector is not aligned perpendicularly to the screen.
Regularly clean the air filter and vents, check the lamp hours and replace the lamp if nearing end of life, and ensure the lens is clean. Keep the projector firmware updated if updates are available.
To reset the projector, go to the 'Menu' option using the remote or control panel. Navigate to 'Reset' or 'Factory Reset' and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.
