To reset alarm codes, first ensure the unit is turned off. Press and hold the alarm list button, then turn the unit back on. Continue holding the button until the alarm codes are cleared, which should take about 5 seconds.
Regular maintenance should be performed every 1,500 hours of operation or every 6 months, whichever comes first. This includes checking the refrigerant levels, inspecting belts and hoses, and changing filters and oil.
First, check the power supply and battery connections. Ensure that the circuit breaker is not tripped. Next, inspect the starter motor and relay for faults. If the problem persists, consult the service manual for detailed diagnostics.
To replace the air filter, turn off the unit and disconnect the power. Remove the filter cover, take out the old filter, and replace it with a new one. Make sure the new filter is properly seated before reattaching the cover.
Use the control panel to access the temperature settings. Press the temperature set button and use the up or down arrows to adjust the temperature. Confirm the new setting by pressing the enter button.
Frequent compressor cycling can be caused by incorrect temperature settings, refrigerant leaks, or a malfunctioning thermostat. Check for these issues and consult with a professional technician if necessary.
To improve fuel efficiency, ensure regular maintenance is performed. Keep the unit clean, check for any blockages in the airflow, and make sure the thermostat is correctly set. Additionally, minimize door openings in refrigerated compartments.
To check refrigerant levels, connect a gauge manifold to the service ports. Start the unit and allow it to reach normal operating conditions. Compare the pressure readings with the specifications in the service manual to determine if the levels are correct.
Turn off the unit and disconnect the power. Remove the protective guards, loosen the tensioner, and remove the broken belt. Install the new belt, adjust the tension, and replace the guards. Ensure the belt is properly aligned before starting the unit.
Always turn off the unit and disconnect the power before performing any service. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, such as gloves and safety glasses. Follow all safety guidelines outlined in the service manual to prevent accidents.
