Store unused ink cartridges in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Keep them in their original packaging until ready to use to prevent drying out.
Open the ink tank cover, remove the empty cartridge by pulling it out, and insert the new cartridge until it clicks into place. Close the ink tank cover afterward.
Turn off the printer and unplug it. Carefully open the printer cover, and gently remove any jammed paper. Ensure there are no torn pieces left inside. Reassemble the printer and turn it back on.
