BT Mini Halo User Guide

To set up your BT Mini Hub Halo Hub, connect the power adapter to the hub and plug it into an electrical outlet. Connect your device to the hub using Wi-Fi or an Ethernet cable. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup process.
First, check all cable connections and ensure the hub is powered on. Restart the hub by unplugging it from the power source for 10 seconds and then plugging it back in. If the problem persists, contact your internet service provider for further assistance.
To reset the hub to factory settings, locate the reset button on the back of the device. Use a paperclip or similar object to press and hold the button for about 10 seconds until the lights on the hub flash. Release the button and wait for the hub to restart.
Ensure the hub is placed in a central location away from thick walls or metal objects. Avoid interference from other electronic devices. You can also use Wi-Fi extenders to boost the signal in areas with weak coverage.
Log into the hub's web interface using a browser by entering the IP address provided in the user manual. Navigate to the Wi-Fi settings section, and you can change the Wi-Fi password from there. Ensure you save the changes before exiting.
When the BT Mini Hub Halo Hub is functioning correctly, the power light should be solid blue. The internet light should also be solid blue, indicating a successful connection to the internet.
Visit the official BT website and download the latest firmware for your model. Access the hub's web interface, navigate to the firmware update section, and upload the downloaded file. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update.
Press the WPS button on your BT Mini Hub Halo Hub. Within two minutes, press the WPS button on the device you want to connect. The device should connect automatically without needing a password.
Ensure the hub's firmware is updated. Check for interference from other devices and change the Wi-Fi channel if necessary. If problems persist, consider relocating the hub or consulting your service provider for further troubleshooting.
