To reset the boiler, press the reset button on the control panel. Hold it for a few seconds until the reset indicator clears.
Turn off the water supply and the boiler. Contact a qualified technician to inspect and repair any leaks. Avoid using the boiler until it has been serviced.
It is recommended to service your boiler annually by a qualified engineer to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Unusual noises could be due to trapped air, low water pressure, or a faulty component. Check the pressure gauge and bleed radiators if necessary. If the noise persists, contact a professional.
Locate the filling loop and slowly open the valves to allow water into the system. Monitor the pressure gauge and stop once it reaches the recommended level (typically between 1 and 1.5 bar).
Error code EA indicates a flame detection issue. Check that the gas supply is on and ensure the boiler has been reset. If the problem persists, contact a qualified technician.
Turn off the heating system and wait for the radiators to cool. Use a radiator key to open the bleed valve and release air until water starts to flow, then close the valve.
The correct operating pressure is typically between 1 and 1.5 bar. Check the pressure gauge and adjust as necessary using the filling loop.
If the condensate pipe is frozen, do not use the boiler. Thaw the pipe using warm water or a hot water bottle, and ensure it is properly insulated to prevent future freezing.
Regular servicing, bleeding radiators, ensuring proper insulation, and using a programmable thermostat can help improve boiler efficiency.
