To reset the boiler, locate the reset button on the control panel. Press and hold the button for 3 seconds until the reset indicator shows on the display. Release the button and the boiler will reboot.
Ensure that the gas supply is on and the boiler is receiving power. Check the thermostat settings and confirm they are correct. If the issue persists, consult the manual for troubleshooting tips or contact a professional technician.
It is recommended to have the boiler serviced annually by a certified technician to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Turn off the heating system and wait for the radiators to cool. Use a radiator key to open the bleed valve, allowing trapped air to escape. Close the valve when water starts to appear. Repeat the process for each radiator.
Gurgling noises can be caused by trapped air in the system or low water pressure. Bleed the radiators and check the pressure gauge on the boiler, ensuring it is within the recommended range.
Locate the filling loop, usually beneath the boiler. Open the valves on the filling loop to allow water to flow into the system until the pressure gauge reads between 1 and 1.5 bar. Close the valves once the desired pressure is reached.
Use a suitable central heating antifreeze that is compatible with your boiler system. Consult the manufacturer’s guidelines or a professional technician to ensure the correct type is used.
Access the control panel and navigate to the temperature settings. Use the up and down arrows to adjust the desired temperature for both heating and hot water. Confirm the settings to apply the changes.
Turn off the boiler and isolate the water supply. Identify the source of the leak and contact a qualified technician to repair the issue. Do not attempt to fix the leak yourself unless you are experienced and confident in doing so.
Ensure the boiler is regularly serviced and operating efficiently. Use a programmable thermostat to optimize heating schedules, and consider upgrading insulation and sealing drafts in your home.
