To reset the boiler, press and hold the reset button until the reset light turns off. This should take about 3 seconds.
First, turn off the water supply and power to the boiler. Then, contact a qualified heating engineer to inspect and repair the leak.
Check if the boiler is receiving power and that the thermostat is set correctly. If the problem persists, it may be due to a faulty diverter valve or a blocked heat exchanger.
It is recommended to service your boiler annually to ensure it operates safely and efficiently.
The Worcester 24i Junior 2013 boiler is designed to use LPG (liquefied petroleum gas).
The ideal pressure is between 1 and 1.5 bar when the system is cold.
Locate the filling loop below the boiler and open the valves slowly until the pressure reaches the recommended level. Then, close the valves.
Unusual noises may indicate trapped air or a build-up of limescale. Bleed the radiators or consult a heating engineer for a system flush.
Turn off the heating and use a radiator key to open the bleed valve. Allow trapped air to escape until water starts to flow, then close the valve.
Check the gas supply and ensure there are no obstructions in the flue. If the issue remains, consult a professional engineer to investigate further.
