To reset your Worcester Greenstar 29CDi boiler, press and hold the reset button for 3 seconds. The reset button is usually located on the front panel of the boiler.
Check if the boiler is receiving power and the thermostat is set correctly. Ensure there is no issue with the gas supply and that the water pressure is within the recommended range (1-1.5 bar when cold).
Use the temperature control knob on the front of the boiler to adjust the water temperature. Turn it clockwise to increase and counterclockwise to decrease the temperature.
Loud noises can be due to air in the system, low water pressure, or a failing pump. Bleed the radiators to remove air and check the pressure gauge to ensure it is at the correct level.
Regular maintenance includes annual servicing by a qualified engineer, checking and cleaning the flue, inspecting the gas pressure, and ensuring the boiler components are functioning correctly.
Turn off the heating system and wait for it to cool. Use a radiator key to open the bleed valve slightly and release trapped air until water starts to drip out, then close the valve.
A flashing blue light typically indicates a flame detection problem. Ensure the gas supply is on and there are no blockages in the flue. If the issue persists, contact a qualified engineer.
Locate the filling loop, usually beneath the boiler. Open the valves to allow water into the system until the pressure gauge reads between 1 and 1.5 bar, then close the valves.
This could be due to low water pressure, a faulty thermostat, or an airlock in the system. Check the pressure and thermostat settings, and bleed the radiators if necessary.
Error code EA indicates a failure to ignite. Check the gas supply, reset the boiler, and ensure there are no blockages in the flue or condensate pipe.
