To reset the boiler, press and hold the reset button on the control panel for 3 seconds until the reset light stops flashing. This will restart the boiler and clear any error codes.
Check if the thermostat is set correctly and ensure that the boiler is receiving power. Also, verify that the pressure gauge is between 1 and 1.5 bar. If the issue persists, contact a qualified technician.
It is recommended to have the boiler serviced annually by a certified engineer to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Error code EA indicates a flame detection error. Check that the gas supply is on and that there are no obstructions in the flue. If the error persists, contact a professional technician.
Turn the temperature control knob on the front panel to your desired setting. For central heating, adjust the 'radiator' knob, and for hot water, adjust the 'tap' knob.
Inspect the pressure relief valve, pipe connections, and seals for leaks. Ensure the pressure is not above 1.5 bar. If unsure, seek assistance from a qualified engineer.
Locate the filling loop under the boiler, open the valves slowly until the pressure reaches 1 to 1.5 bar. Close the valves securely afterward.
Banging noises may indicate trapped air or limescale build-up. Bleed the radiators and ensure the system is free from air. If noise persists, contact a technician for descaling.
Ensure regular servicing, use thermostatic radiator valves, and consider installing a smart thermostat to optimize heating schedules.
A flashing blue light typically indicates a fault in the ignition. Check gas supply and reset the boiler. If the problem continues, contact a professional engineer.
