To start the Stihl TS 360 Cutquik, ensure the on/off switch is in the 'on' position, set the choke lever to 'full choke' for a cold engine, and pull the starter rope until the engine fires. Move the choke to 'half choke' and pull again until the engine runs.
The Stihl TS 360 Cutquik requires a 50:1 ratio of unleaded gasoline to high-quality 2-cycle engine oil. Ensure the gasoline has a minimum octane rating of 89.
To replace the blade, first ensure the machine is off and the spark plug is disconnected. Use a wrench to loosen the blade bolt, remove the old blade, and install the new blade, ensuring it is oriented correctly. Tighten the bolt securely.
Power loss can be caused by several factors, including a clogged air filter, a dirty spark plug, or improper fuel mixture. Check and clean the air filter, inspect the spark plug for wear, and ensure the correct fuel mix is used.
The air filter should be checked and cleaned after every 10 hours of use, or more frequently in dusty conditions. A clean filter ensures optimal engine performance and longevity.
For storage, run the engine until the fuel tank is empty to prevent stale fuel issues. Clean the machine thoroughly, check for any damage that needs repair, and store in a dry, secure location away from direct sunlight.
If the Stihl TS 360 won't start, check the fuel level and mix, inspect the spark plug for fouling, ensure the air filter is clean, and verify that the on/off switch is operational.
Regularly inspect and clean the cooling fins and air intake to prevent overheating. Ensure that ventilation openings are free of debris, and check the fan for any damage.
To adjust the carburetor, locate the adjustment screws marked L (low speed) and H (high speed). Start the engine and allow it to warm up, then adjust the screws slowly to fine-tune the engine's performance, ensuring optimal idle and acceleration.
Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment, such as goggles, ear protection, and gloves. Ensure the work area is clear of obstacles and bystanders, and always operate the machine with a firm grip and stable footing.
