To set up the Stihl RMI 632 PC-L, start by installing the perimeter wire around your lawn's boundaries, ensuring it is secured with pegs. Connect the charging station to a power source and place it within the boundary. Follow the on-screen instructions on the robotic mower to configure the initial settings such as time, date, and mowing schedule.
If the mower does not return to the charging station, check the perimeter wire for any breaks or disconnections. Ensure the charging station is powered and placed correctly. Additionally, verify that the mower's sensors are clean and unobstructed.
To update the firmware, connect the mower to a Wi-Fi network via the control panel. Once connected, access the settings menu and select the 'Update Firmware' option. Follow the prompts to download and install the latest firmware.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the mower’s undercarriage, checking and replacing the blades as needed, ensuring the sensors are clean, and inspecting the perimeter wire for damage. Additionally, keep the software updated for optimal performance.
To adjust the cutting height, use the control panel to navigate to the settings menu. Select the 'Cutting Height' option and adjust it to the desired level. The mower will automatically adjust its blades to the selected cutting height.
If the mower frequently stops, check for obstructions such as debris or tall grass that may hinder its movement. Ensure the blades are sharp and correctly installed. Verify that the perimeter wire is correctly laid and there are no signal interruptions.
Download the Stihl app on your smart device and create an account. Use the app to scan the QR code on the mower to pair it. Follow the app instructions to complete the setup and control the mower remotely.
Uneven cutting performance can be caused by dull or damaged blades. Check the blades and replace them if necessary. Ensure the mower is operating on a level surface and that the cutting height is set uniformly.
Before storing the mower for winter, thoroughly clean it and remove the battery. Store the mower and battery in a dry, frost-free environment. Disconnect the charging station and store it indoors.
Refer to the user manual for a list of error codes and their meanings. Common solutions involve resetting the mower, checking for obstructions, or repositioning the perimeter wire. If issues persist, contact Stihl customer support.
