To assemble the Stihl RE 90, first attach the handle to the main unit. Connect the high-pressure hose to the spray gun and the unit. Ensure all connections are tight to prevent leaks. Finally, attach the nozzle to the spray gun, selecting the appropriate one for your task.
If the Stihl RE 90 does not start, check the power supply and ensure the unit is plugged in properly. Verify that the circuit breaker has not tripped. Inspect the power cord for damage. If the problem persists, consult a professional technician.
To maintain the pump, regularly check for leaks and clean the inlet filter. Make sure to use the pressure washer with clean water to prevent debris from damaging the pump. Store the unit indoors to protect it from freezing temperatures, which can damage the pump.
To clean the nozzle, remove it from the spray gun and rinse it with clean water. Use a thin wire or a nozzle cleaning tool to clear any obstructions. Ensure the nozzle is completely dry before reattaching it to the spray gun.
For long-term storage, disconnect and drain all hoses. Run the unit for a few seconds without water to clear any remaining liquid. Store the unit in a dry place, protected from freezing temperatures. Keep the power cord neatly wrapped to prevent damage.
Check the inlet filter for blockages and clean it if necessary. Ensure all connections are secure and there are no leaks. Examine the nozzle for clogs and clean it as needed. Confirm that the water supply is adequate and not restricted.
To use detergents, fill the detergent tank with a suitable cleaning solution. Attach the detergent nozzle to the spray gun. Adjust the pressure setting as needed. Apply the detergent evenly and allow it to sit for a few minutes before rinsing thoroughly.
Common signs include reduced pressure, leaks, unusual noises, and visible damage to hoses or fittings. Regularly inspect the unit for these signs and address any issues promptly to prevent further damage.
To replace the hose, turn off the unit and disconnect it from the power source. Release any pressure by squeezing the trigger. Unscrew the old hose from the unit and the spray gun. Attach the new hose, ensuring all connections are tight and secure.
Wear protective eyewear and gloves. Never point the spray gun at people or animals. Be cautious of electrical connections and avoid using the unit in wet conditions to prevent electric shock. Follow all manufacturer instructions and guidelines.
